We are the “sorelle” (sisters in Italian) Laura and Cristina Capitanio.  We moved to the U.S.A. in 1994 to pursue our dreams of living in this beautiful country and making art for a living.

OUR COMPANY

For over fifteen years now, we have been living out this dream, creating custom painted decorations, murals, trompe l’oeil and frescoes all over the country. With a passion for walls and interiors, creating our own line of wallpaper was always one of our top goals. We knew from the get-go that we wanted our offerings to be socially and environmentally responsible, and great care has been taken in the production and manufacture to ensure this. We are thrilled to be able to finally offer our unique hand finished line of Sorelle Wallpaper.

OUR WALLPAPER

At Sorelle Wallpaper, every design is hand painted before it is sent to the factory, where it is reproduced digitally. This ensures an exquisite hand crafted feel. We have focused on creating random patterns and repeats with a twist. In our latest collection we have added three-dimensional elements like Mother of Pearl and Albalone shell veneer, wood and bamboo veneer and velvet ribbons and beads that we have then applied by hand. From the paper we use, to the ink that we choose, our line of Sorelle Wallpaper is 100% environmentally responsible. All our paper is PVC-free, contains recycled content and is made from rapidly renewable resources. We pride ourselves on providing our clients with a unique style that can be enjoyed for years.
